Rachael Funch - Fitball Instructor
Having a good time exercising to groovy tunes is what keeps Rachael motivated as a registered level 2 exercise professional (Fitness Australia).
Rachael has always enjoyed working out as a participant in City gyms and leisure centres, but when Rachael moved to rural remote Western Australia in 2005, there were no gyms or fitness instructors to help her keep her groove and fitness. So she decided to become one. For the next five years Rachael brought city groovy tunes and fitness classes to the rural remote towns of Newdegate, Hyden, Pingrup and Lake King. Classes Rachael instructed included:
- Fitball
- Circuit training
- Barbell Strength training
- Aqua - deep and shallow water
During her time in the country Rachael also worked with Gwenda(our mighty “Shapechanger”) to train ten local women as gym instructors.
Since returning to Perth in 2010, Rachael has continued her work as a fitness instructor running the Heart Foundation, Heartmoves group exercise classes for the over 50’s in the City of Wanneroo and City of Swan.
Rachael is thrilled to get back into the bounce of Fitball and share the benefits the exercise ball brings to YOUR BODY!
